1. just as

빈칸이 just에 주어진다. just as는 equally as(똑같이)란 뜻으로서, just like, just the same 등의 쓰임과 같다.

Buses that run on natural gas are just as reliable as diesel-powered buses.

(천연가스로 운행되는 버스들은 디젤만큼 믿을 만하다.)

2. reserved parking area 지정된 주차공간

빈칸이 reserved에 주어진다. a reserved seat(지정석)도 많이 등장하는 표현이다.

A university parking permit is required to occupy any space in the reserved parking area.

3. attendance records 출석기록

빈칸이 attendance에 주어진다. 합성명사로 한 단어처럼 익혀두자.

Attendance records will be taken into account when grades are issued.

4. extremely successful 대단히 성공적인

Educators believe that these new methods of learning a foreign language will be extremely successful if begun at an early age.

(교육자들은 이 새로운 외국어 학습법을 어린 나이에 시작하면 대단히 성공적일 것이라고 믿는다.)
