# Useful Expressions
1. 위치
* in 도시, 지역, at 빌딩, 구체적인 장소
"It is in Yoido at A building on the 8th floor."
* 근처에 near~ close to~ 멀리에 far from~
걸어서 갈 수 있는 거리 (within) walking distance
"It's walking distance." or "I can walk to work."

2. 시간
* ~시에 ~로 출발한다 "I leave for work at 7 o'clock."
* 정시에 on time, 늦지 않게 in time "I get to the office on time"
* 정시에 도착하다, 약속을 지키다 to be punctual
* ~(시간)이 걸리다 It takes~ "It takes 30 minutes to go to work."

3. 교통수단
*take+교통수단
"I take subway/taxi/bus."
*by +교통수단
"I go to work by subway/taxi/bus."
*걸어가다 on foot
"I go to work on foot" or "I walk to work."
*자전거를 타고 가다 ride bicycle
"I ride my bicycle to work." or "I go to work by bicycle."
*급한 경우에 in urgent cases=in an emergency
*늦었을 때 When I'm late~ When I oversleep(늦잠잤을 때)~
TIP! 좀 더 이야기를 덧붙여보자. 어떤 교통수단을 더 선호하는지, 그 이유도 덧붙여보자. "Add more fun to your answer!!"

4. 덧붙일 이야기
*A보다 B를 선호하다 prefer A to B
"I prefer taxi to bus." 나는 버스보다 택시를 선호한다.
* 버스가 만원이다. packed like sardines(정어리)
"The bus is packed like sardines." or "The bus is crowded with people."
* 교통체증이 심하다 The cars are bumper to bumper during rush hour.
*바쁜 아침을 묘사하는 표현들:

모범답안

My company is located near City Hall.
I wake up at 7 and leave for work at 7:30.
It takes nearly an hour and half to get to work by car,
so I take the subway.
Driving during rush hour is terrible.
If I drive, I arrive at work at around 9.
It's very difficult to find parking space
and I hardly ever have enough time to have breakfast.
I can save a lot of time by taking the subway or bus
because my company is only 5 minutes away from the bus stop and subway station.
I can also have breakfast at the company cafeteria before I start work.
